My Pet Dragon by SharpPhotoStudio My Pet Dragon by SharpPhotoStudio
This Dragonfly has been on the antenna of my car for the past 3 months. I have watched him grow from a tiny baby to what you see now. I consider him my pet and today, I finally got a picture that captures his beauty.

NOTICE: Only the title has anything to do with this creature being my pet. He does, by all means, live in the wild and not in my home.

This is a commissioned work I did for :iconxicycoldlovex: for being one of my biggest fans.

Thanks.  I took it with the Canon SXi which was a feat in itself.  I hope it comes back this year so I can shoot it with the T3i and 250mm.

Thank you.  I hope he comes back this summer.  And if it isn't him/her, then I hope another one comes to take its place.  Now that I've figured out how to properly shoot in HDR, I can take its picture like that.

You're lucky to capture one of those. I spend ages getting one sharp and big enough on a photograph, but as of current I'm still trying :(

Great photograph!

Well, if you want to capture a picture of one you can wait until Spring time and then come to Sleepy Hollow, NJ and I will show you a place where there are a ton of them.
